Hi, I’m Katie, a Senior Marketing and Communications Manager
I create strategies and content that engage, inform, and inspire. Here are some of the fun things I’ve worked on.

Arup | 2025
As Senior Marketing and Communications Manager at Arup, one of the key projects I undertook was leading a complete rebrand of Oasys LS-DYNA Environment, Arup’s commercial software business.
Oasys LS-DYNA Environment is the leading software for advanced crash and impact simulations, and the goal was to give the business a refreshed identity and digital presence that reflected its innovation, engaged its technical community, and supported future growth.
Oasys LS-DYNA Environment Brand
The brand and website no longer represented the cutting-edge nature of the software. We needed to create a bold new identity that would resonate with engineers, academics, and industry.
Discovery
I led a thorough discovery phase, gathering quantitative and qualitative input from Arup leadership, Oasys product teams, and international users. This involved consolidating feedback from multiple stakeholder groups, often with competing priorities and distilling it into a clear report and creative brief that could guide the project.
With this foundation in place, I partnered with Jask Creative to translate these insights into a new brand identity, website, and detailed set of brand guidelines.
The New Brand & Logo
The new brand identity for Oasys LS-DYNA Environment was designed to reflect innovation, precision, and authority while remaining approachable to a global technical audience. Hexagonal shapes, inspired by the honeycomb structures commonly used in crash barriers, became a consistent visual motif across the brand, symbolising resilience, impact analysis, and structural optimisation.
Marketing & Launch Campaign
To support the launch, I designed and led an integrated global campaign spanning social media, web and email marketing, printed collateral, and delivering tailored assets for international audiences. This included developing messaging frameworks, managing teams and distributors, and driving outreach across events and user networks.
Rebrand to Results
The Users’ Conference anchored the campaign, driving engagement, boosting registrations, and strengthening the LS-DYNA community worldwide. Together, these efforts created a consistent, high-impact presence across every channel.
The project was a success, delivering a modern and distinctive identity that better reflected the software’s capabilities.
Stories from the Oasys LS-DYNA Community
A rich content strategy was also key to building trust in our products. I collaborated with key partners and users on thought leadership, news stories and case studies showcasing how Oasys supports real-world engineering, transforming technical complexity into clear, relatable stories. Designed as versatile marketing assets, these case studies are used across the website, social media and events.

National Centre for Accessible Transport (NCAT)
Coventry University | 2023
The National Centre for Accessible Transport (NCAT) is a £20 million research centre dedicated to improving accessibility in transport. Its mission is to provide human-centred evidence and insights that shape policy, influence strategy, and guide investment rooted in the lived experiences of disabled people and stakeholders.
I led the development of NCAT’s complete brand identity, oversaw the design and built of its first website, and managed the centre’s high-profile launch event.
Removing barriers with inclusive and robust evidence
Brand
Developing the brand identity was a unique challenge: it needed to be accessible, inclusive, and reflective of NCAT’s values from day one. The video animates several shapes, which move and transform until they form the NCAT logo, which alludes to inclusivity evoking the phrase all shapes and sizes.
Website
Working with top creative agencies, I delivered NCAT’s first website, designed to be accessible and intuitive for users, and to embody the inclusive identity we defined in detailed brand guidelines.
Launch Event
I organised a high-profile launch event for NCAT, successfully introducing the new centre to the public, policymakers, and government representatives, as well as securing coverage from national media outlets.
